In support of the ever-increasing need to manage mental health patients, Class Publishing is working on publishing a book for paramedics to help support them with this specialty. As this book will be written by paramedics for paramedics, we are looking for paramedics who are willing to provide us with examples of mental health patients they have managed that fall under the following criteria:

  1. Depression
  2. Post-natal depression
  3. Anxiety
  4. Generalised Anxiety Disorder
  5. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  6. Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
  7. Panic Disorder
  8. Psychosis
  9. Bipolar Disorder
  10. Schizophrenia
  11. Dementia
  12. Self-harm
  13. Acute Behaviour Disorder
  14. Alcohol and substance misuse

We would really like to involve all paramedics interested in this project and will also be seeking feedback from the patient perspective. If you are interested in helping please contact Dr Ursula Rolfe at urolfe@bournemouth.ac.uk
