The Resuscitation Council UK’s 2021 Guidelines have been published. These revised Guidelines, written by leading experts in resuscitation, provide up-to-date, evidence-based best practice for clinical excellence in resuscitation. They cover all age groups and aim to give people their best chance of a successful outcome from cardiac arrest, as well as improve patient and family experiences of conversations and decision-making to plan care they would want at the end of life.
Read the RCUK Guidelines for best practice for resuscitation.
All healthcare organisations and individuals will plan to implement the changes into practice within the next 12 months.
