Quality Improvement Fellowships

Wanted: champions for healthcare improvement

The Health Foundation is looking for passionate, talented clinically-qualified leaders dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare to join our Quality Improvement Fellowship programme.

The Health Foundations want to give up to five senior leaders the opportunity to spend a fully-funded year at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in the US, where they will combine academic learning with the development of practical skills and techniques for quality improvement.

Fellows return to the UK ready to spread their learning within their organisation and also work to champion quality improvement both locally and nationally.

Fellows receive an allowance of up to £25,000 to support travel, relocation, visa and US healthcare costs. Their salary and benefits are covered by their employer during the fellowship, but the Health Foundation will cover the cost of employing replacement staff.

The Quality Improvement Fellowships are now open for application.

For more information and how to apply, go to www.health.org.uk/qif or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Applications close at 12 noon, Tuesday 9 October 2012.
