Notes:

1.    Only full members (registered paramedics) have voting rights

2.    Fellows may be elected by the Council of the College from the ranks of paid-up full members following consideration of nominations from at least two members of the College, regardless of grade. They may use the post-nominals ‘FCPara’ and are required to pay the same annual fee as full members.

3.    Honorary Fellows may be elected by the Council of the College following consideration of nominations from at least two members of the College, regardless of grade. They are required to pay the same annual fee as associate members.

4.    Emeritus Fellows are Fellows or Honorary Fellows who have retired in good-standing. They are not required to pay a membership fee.

5.    Student and Associate members and Honorary and Emeritus Fellows are NOT permitted to use post-nominal letters as this would contravene legislation which protects the use of the title ‘paramedic’. Any misuse of post-nominals will result in expulsion from the College and submission of a report to the Health Professions Council, risking prosecution.
