Department of Health Allied Health Professions Bulletin

Paramedics are included in the Dept of Health-defined list of Allied Health Professions (AHPs).  Many of the issues affecting AHPs as a whole also apply to paramedics, such as funding, CPD, specialist and advanced role development, educational frameworks, to name but a few.

The Dept of Health Chief AHP Officer, Karen Middleton and her team have been very supportive of efforts to include paramedic involvement in AHP matters and continue to encourage our profession's development.

The AHP Bulletin is published regularly and contains news and articles of interest for all AHPs.
